SUMMARY:The Most Critical Legal and Medical Decisions to Consider Now
DESCRIPTION:Join us to celebrate National Health Care Decisions Day\, an initiative to encourage people to express their healthcare wishes through all the proper channels and for providers to respect those wishes. This event will include presentations from Risa Hanau\, LCSW\, clinical and community educator\, AuthoraCare Collective; Dennis Toman\, JD\, owner of The Elderlaw Firm; and Angela Lewis-Myers\, LCSW\, Triad Healthcare Network. \nAttendees will receive resources from The Conversation Project to share with patients and loved ones for end-of-life planning\, as well as a certificate for a free consultation with an attorney. All participants can get a free healthcare Power of Attorney\, which can be scanned directly into Cone Health systems at the event.
